Rutherglen  is located approx. 275 km northeast of Melbourne via the Hume Freeway. Although once a former gold mining town, now Rutherglen is far better known as a superb wine and award winning gourmet food producing region.

Ride along the Muscat trail on bicycles ( bring your own or hire from Rutherlen Tourist information ) along the Murray river to 10 of the local wineries.
